In inglese, quando una persona presenta problemi di calcoli, normalmente non si usa la parola “calculi”, ma “stones”: Mia mamma ha i calcoli ai reni, my mum has got kidney stones; calcoli epatici, gallstones. Il sostantivo “calculi” è utilizzato esclusivamente in ambito medico-scientifico.
